I quit covering SaiGar because I got distracted watching 135 episodes of Naruto am too busy with my schoolwork. I might return to it when it wraps back around to the top of the brackets.

Sorry, but I am too hung-over busy to cover today’s SaiGar, especially since I’d have to research every single character on there, not being terribly familiar with any of them. However, I will provide a handy link to fellow anime blogger TJ Han’s older (several months before the conception of SaiGar) post on MANLY ANIME MEN which includes some backing for Masaru from Sexy Commando. You will have to scroll down a bit to get to it.

Today’s SaiGar matchup is thankfully free of bullshit harem protagonists. After some consideration I’ve had to make these summaries a bit shorter (at least until the two-match days have past) in order to have time for them.
ABSTRACT: You can actually vote for almost anybody here without cause for horrible shame, but personally I favor Batou and the Dread Pirate Space Pirate Captain Harlock GARlock.
Okay, I only know two of these characters before-hand, so you get to experience the results of my Lightning Research Hissatsu.
Abstract: Vote for Papillon (or just not for Mizuho) and MANji the MANkillah.
EDIT: Apparently Akagi doesn’t just bet his own limbs for whores, he does it to help people! Which I guess makes him pretty manly, so a vote for Akagi is also acceptable.
So, I realize it is mostly a joke in the first place, but we gotta fix this whole SaiGar thing. I’m not going to get e-herpes by sticking my internet p0n0s in 4chan, so you, oh very small number of blog readers, will have to help.

If you’re like me, you will notice a very strange thing on the right side: Manager Ken has been defeated! I thought that one would be a landslide, so I became suspicious. Then something was pointed out to me about the left side: an equally obvious winner lost just as handily. More on this case in a bit.

I don’t think I have ever seen quite this much shoujou packed into fifteen minutes of anime.
And is it just me, or does it seem like the mecha are just in here as an apology to the guys whose girlfriends make them watch this show?
I went to Borders today (I guess I should go more often). Apparently not only do they now carry manhwa, but they carry furry manhwa.
